"Berry" Fun

Image
These treats are super fun and easy to make.....my little sister helped with them, so they have sprinkles! Be sure to pat dry your berries to make sure that the chocolate coating will stick.  I used a white chocolate baking bar for these, but you can use any kind of chocolate you want.  Simply melt it in the microwave on low heat.....just until the chocolate is soft or it will burn and get hard.  I put the tray into the freezer for about 5 minutes to set the chocolate.  They were a big hit....I'm lucky I got a photo! :) For these skewers we used strawberries, pineapple, bananas and apples.  Just be sure to cut your fruit big enough so that it doesn't split when you put the skewer through.  Drizzle with the chocolate of your choice and enjoy! These are great if you have friends over or just need a sweet treat that is quick to put together. They are pretty too! photo credit: Anna Wersland

I am so excited to start this blog.  I love to cook, but especially, I love to bake.  This is a place where I can share my kitchen creations.  My sister, Anna, will be helping me take photos of the process and the end product.....kind of like a food diary from our kitchen.  :)   I hope you enjoy seeing what I'm up to.
